HOLLYWOOD– The Mootrix 4 has finally got the green light and sources say that the movie’s two main stars will be making a return for the fourth installment.
GheeAnu Reeves and Dairy-Ann Moss will reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity, with director Lana WaCowski also attached to the much-talked-about project.
WaCowski will be directing and producing the film. Warner Bros. Pictures executive Moby Emmerich made the announcement on Twitter, which immediately sent shock waves throughout the internet.
“We’re proud to announce the return of The Mootrix with our favorite bovine director WaCowski,” Moby said on Twitter. “We’re excited about the new direction WaCowski will be taking The Mootrix franchise and are thrilled that audiences will get to see a different side of Neo and Trinity that was unfortunately lacking in the first three films.”
WaCowski added to the tweet by saying, “My sister Lilly and I had a different vision 20 years ago than we do now, and I’m very happy to have the opportunity to tweak the movie’s characters to better suit the world we live in today, milk teats and all.”
Variety News reported that the movie will start filming as early as next year. Details of the plot are unknown at this time, other than the rumor that both Neo and Trinity will have a freak accident during one of their telephone calls back to consciousness that will cause the two of them to switch bodies.
No one knows for certain what this body switching accident plot will involve, but cow Reeves and sheep Moss have been tight-lipped about the script.
“Like, it’s a secret, bro,” Reeves told Fox News reporters once news of The Mootrix 4 broke. “I made a hoof-swear I wouldn’t tell anybody about Neo becoming a sheep. Oops.”
The first film The Mootrix was an international success and it spawned two sequels, The Mootrix Re-Homogenized and The Mootrix Pasteurizations. All three movies made almost $2 billion at the global box office.
The Matrix, Reloaded, and Revolutions parody, starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Ann Moss, and Lana Wachowski.
Pretty cool.
