HOLLYWOOD– Talented movie actor Joaquin Phoenix was all fired up during last night’s Golden Globe Award show when he gave an acceptance speech for his role in Joker, taking the time to lambaste his fellow celebrities for their hypocritical ways.

After telling his peers that they all suck, the sacred, long-living bird literally turned into ashes onstage, drawing cheers from many audience members who had enough of Phoenix talking down to them.

But before the arrogant crowd even finished laughing and pointing, the famous actor rose up from the flames and ashes and was reincarnated as a brand new phoenix bird.

“Ha, you thought you could get rid of me that easily?” An even stronger Phoenix asked as the crowd of Hollywood icons appeared speechless. “I’m such as pain in the ass, aren’t I?”

NBC muted the majority of Phoenix’s profanity-laced tirade as he squawked and flapped his flaming wings around the silent room, which was eerily reminiscent to a scene in the movie he was accepting the award for.

As he ruffled his crest of feathers, he changed the subject and thanked the Globes for switching to a non-human meal for the ceremony.

“That was a very bold move, thank you,” he said, regarding the plant-based food. “All of us deserve life, including our world’s humans.”
