SEATTLE, WASHINGTON– Police were called after a violent gang war between murder hornets and honeybees erupted last night, leaving several insects dead and dozens injured.
Numerous shots were fired during the violent altercation, prompting many innocent bystanders to call 911. Members of the bee gang Beehive Brothers have been fighting with the murder hornet gang Hornet Homies on and off for the past few months.
Since March there have been a series of attacks caused by a rivalry between hornet and bee gangs in the area. Murder hornets first made their way to the United States last year and have been slowly taking over the area that was once controlled by bee gangs.
Several honeybees were stung and decapitated during the incident, and at least four hornets had their thoraxes crushed with hardened honey combs.
Swarms of insects have been arrested, while hundreds of others flew the scene as soon as police arrived.
Last week, thirteen dead honeybees who were members of the Beehive Brothers gang were discovered in an alleyway with their heads decapitated and the words “Hornet Homies” spray-painted on their abdomens using pollen.
Police said the cause of the violence between the feuding gangs is a dispute over a lucrative honey drug business.
Anyone with information regarding the buzzworthy incident should contact police. Authorities are also asking the public’s assistance in locating the thirteen decapitated bee heads from last week’s scuffle.
