HOLLYWOOD– Movie critics are already calling this the greatest romantic movie in years, and the film hasn’t even been released yet.
Three Legs Apart, starring yearling stars Leigh Horsely and Mare Trotter, is a romantic drama that opens on Valentine’s Day 2018.
A large part of the film deals with the fact that Trotter was born with only three legs while Horsely was born with two extra legs, six in total.
Written by Bob Foal, the film follows two yearlings who meet and fall in love after Trotter places an ad in a local newspaper looking for someone willing to donate one of their legs.
Near the end of the movie, Trotter and Horsely make the ultimate sacrifice for their love and learn a huge life lesson in the process.

Three Legs Apart transcends the romance genre by touching on issues that will guarantee its place in the movie hall of fame.
Three Legs Apart opens February 14 in stables across the country.
