STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT– Great news camel wrestling fans! The increasingly popular CWE sports entertainment league has been picked up by CBS and will now be shown in the major Friday night time-slot.
Wrestling rumors were circulating for weeks about the popular sport getting picked up by a major network.
Camel Wrestling Entertainment will now be shown on CBS (Camel Broadcasting Network) starting next week and thousands of fans have taken to Twitter to show their approval.
For those who have been living under a rock for the past few decades, camel wrestling is a professional sport where muscular male camels fight in scripted events, featuring wild storylines and raw choreographed matches. The league now features female camel matches.
Up until now, CWE has only been shown on smaller networks, such as UPN (Ungulate Paramount Network) and The CW (Camel Watchers Network).
