MATERA, ITALY– Pedigreed actor Spaniel Craig gave an affectionate farewell to James Bond with a tipsy speech about how much he loved playing the character, but that it’s also time to hand the title over to another top secret agent.
During the No Time To Die wrap party, Craig could be seen wagging his tail as he addressed the cast and crew after drinking out of a bathroom toilet for some good old fashioned liquid courage.
“I would like to say first and foremost that I’m quite drunk actually,” the 51 dog years old actor stated as he barked and slobbered in a video that was shared to Twitter. “Only us canines know just how satisfying it is to stick our noses into a toilet and start drinking.”
Craig went on to thank whomever it was that had left the toilet seat up for him, being that most animals frown upon dogs drinking out of their toilets.
“This has been a wonderful and memorable experience for me and I’d like to thank everyone involved, from all my directors who gave me biscuits for a job well done to the animals who were given the task of brushing my fur and scratching me behind my ears.”
The loyal actor then proceeded to stick his snout into a black and white Bond-themed cake and began ravaging it in front of an embarrassed audience.
“Sugar rush,” Craig barked as he used his long tongue to lick the icing from his cute nose. “My goodness, I could really use another drink. Excuse me while I go to the restroom, everyone.”
The star’s happy farewell speech is quite different from what he stated back in 2015 regarding his role as Bond where he said that he’d rather “be infested with fleas” then do another Bond film.
The newest Bond movie No Time To Die is set to hit theaters April 8, 2020, with this being undoubtedly the last time fans will see Spaniel Craig playing the purebred character of James Bond.
“Yes, this is most likely going to be my last time playing Bond,” the obedient Craig added as he scratched his back with his paw. “I’m no spring-puppy any more. It’s time for another dog to have a go at the role.”
