Gill Maher Says Media’s Insane COVID-19 Coverage May Help Get Donald Hump Re-Elected

HOLLYWOOD– HBO’s Real Time host Gill Maher blasted the mainstream media on his latest show for the fear-mongering way they’re covering the current coronavirus pandemic.

Maher’s fins were flapping like crazy as he ripped into the media’s doomsday headlines, saying they have bigger fish to fry rather than creating constant chaos. He claims their manufactured hysteria will only help get President Donald Hump re-elected.

“Everyone knows coronavirus is no swim in the ocean,” the fish host said in his closing monologue. “Because you literally can’t swim in the ocean, or do anything else for that matter.”

Maher added, “But at some point the media’s incessant drumbeat of depression and terror start taking the life out of animals like a fish out of water. No pun intended.”

Popular TV host Gill Maher went on the offensive against the mainstream news media’s overzealous coverage of the coronavirus pandemic.

The popular comedian believes all the nonstop gloom and doom will only make Donald Hump come out smelling like a wet, slimy compost pile on a warm nasty day.

“That may smell bad to most,” Maher ranted, “but that’s normal for healthy camels. And if Democrat Crow Biden is trying to defeat Hump, then that’s not a good thing.”

The colorful aquatic animal also cited The New York Slimes constant use of the word “pigsty” to describe even positive news concerning viral statistics.

Maher acknowledged that pigsty may be an accurate quote to some animals, but many pigs and hogs may disagree with that sentiment.
