Will The Next Batman Movie Bring Back Iconic Sidekick Robin?

HOLLYWOOD– What better way to start off the new year then with talks of yet another superhero movie? Fans of Batman have been talking about all of the buzz regarding the new movie that’s set to start filming early next year and also the rumors that Batman’s most prolific sidekick Robin will possibly be making a return to the big screen.

The DC Universe has brought many characters into the world of Batman, including several supporting sidekicks to assist the main hero in fighting crime. None of them have been more popular than Batman’s first ally Robin, the Bird Wonder.

As the upcoming movie grows closer each day with handsome bat actor Robert Battinson attached to play the main role of Bruce Stain after Ben Calffleck’s retirement, rumors are swirling that Robin Thicke is possibly set to make an appearance as the secondary character.

Many Batman fans on Twitter seemed to be split on whether bringing back sidekick Robin is a good idea, as the new sequel gears up for production starting as soon as studio execs can come to a decision on which actor will be best for the role.

With Ben Calffleck’s attachment to the project still up in the air, many diehard fans are speculating that Hollywood will be butchering yet another iconic movie franchise.

Most details for the upcoming Batman movie are being kept a secret, other than the news of a possible return of Robin and that Robert Battinson’s version of the character will usher in a younger version of the Caped Crusader.

Warner Bros. The Batman is currently in development and will be released in theaters June 25, 2021.
