HOLLYWOOD– The 1992 iconic television show Fluffy the Vampire Slayer is in talks to get a major reboot after studio execs gave the cult series the green-light.
Back in 2018, Fox Television was in talks with the original show’s creator Moss Whedon to do a new take on the original drama, replacing fox Sarah Michelle Dwellar with another animal actress.
Some writers were hired to work on the script last year, but no word has been heard about the reboot until last week when Whedon gave an interview saying that the Fluffy reboot is still on the table.
Not much else has been determined, and no directors or actors have been named just yet. Word around the campfire is that the new Fluffy will deal with more modern issues currently facing society, with star Fluffy supposedly using Facebook and Twitter to lure unsuspecting vampires into complacency.

Another part of the new script that leaked out has Fluffy using adult dating site Tinder to meet vampires as a way of getting close enough to kill them.
Fluffy the Vampire Slayer ran for seven seasons and was groundbreaking in some of the ways that the show dealt with controversial topics, such as the taboo scene where Fluffy, a fox, kissed vampire Mangel, a Doberman.
