Hold The Feathers: Chicken Sues After Going Bald From Shampoo

EAGLE RIVER, WISCONSIN– How would you feel if you woke up one morning and found a pillow full of feather down. That’s exactly what happened to one un-plucky chicken and she’s not only been squawking about it on social media, but she’s also hired a lawyer.

In the lawsuit, Henrietta Cluckson, 1, claims that she used a shampoo called Feathers & Tail to get rid of flakes on her scalp. After only using the shampoo sixty-one times in one night, the bird claims that she lost over seventy percent of the down covering her head and neck.

Cluckson’s lawyer showed reporters this before and after photo of the feather loss. Cluckson claims the shampoo caused her feather down to fall out. Cluckson has become the butt of many bald chicken memes on social media.

Cluckson’s lawyer Scoria Allredd says that there wasn’t ample enough warnings on the shampoo bottle to say that there was a possibility of losing any down after using the shampoo for over sixty times in one night.

“Where are the warnings?” Allredd asked news reporters with her bald client seated to her right. “Show me where it says on this bottle that you’ll go bald after using this shampoo sixty-one times within one hour. You can’t cause it doesn’t.”

Allredd told reporters that her client is seeking $900 million dollars and an extra $20,000 to get a feather transplant.

The Kentucky-based company that manufactures the shampoo says that the shampoo clearly states on the bottle that if a bird has any adverse effects, then they should immediately discontinue using it.

Allredd retorted that the bottle should still have a clear warning that using the shampoo over sixty times in a row may lead to baldness.
