About Squirrel Lips

Founded in 2017, SQUIRREL LIPS is the first and only website that was created by and for animals without any help whatsoever from humans. Well, other than the little bit of help that humans usually give, such as fetching you the newspaper and sitting on top of your lap at night.

SQUIRREL LIPS has become the number one site for parody animal news, both foreign and domestic, and has already garnered numerous Litterbox Awards for its groundbreaking content on all issues related to the higher species. SQUIRREL LIPS is also the proud recipient of the Tentacled Snake Award for journalistic integrity.

SQUIRREL LIPS staff comes from very diverse backgrounds, with each member of the team contributing a great portion of their time to the advancement of animal causes. SQUIRREL LIPS is also a proud member of the ASPCH, which stands for The Animal Society for the Pursuance of Compassion to Humans. Perhaps one day we can live in a world where both animals and people exist together peacefully and where our human friends are treated more humanely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are articles on SQUIRREL LIPS for real?

Depends on what you mean by “real.” The articles are really written, but they are not really real. Understand? But seriously, every article is fiction and uses satirical satirized satire to satirize possibly real events, people, animals, etc.

And yes, SQUIRREL LIPS uses invented names in all of its invented articles, except possibly in some situations where a public figure is being satirized. So, any other uses of real names is accidental, fortuitous, coincidental, and many other fifty cent words that you can think of. SQUIRREL LIPS is not intended for animals under 2 years of age, but most humans over 18 years of age should be fine.

Are the articles actually written by living, breathing, highly intelligent animals?

Yes. Why is that so difficult to believe?

Can humans submit articles or ideas to SQUIRREL LIPS?

No. SQUIRREL LIPS does not accept any submissions from humans, no offense. Even though we welcome our human friends to enjoy SQUIRREL LIPS, our articles require a firsthand knowledge of all things related to animals.

Also, SQUIRREL LIPS articles may not be reprinted or retransmitted in whole or in part without the express written consent of the publisher.
